Scholarship Overview
Hager & Schwartz, P.A. is committed to supporting the next generation of legal professionals by offering a $2,500 scholarship. This scholarship is targeted at students who’ve shown interest in law, majoring in law, or planning to attend law school. We are committed to helping aspiring legal professionals achieve their educational goals and make a positive impact in the legal field.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
- GPA: Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
- Field of Study: Must be pursuing a degree in law or a related field.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is December 15, 2024.
Application Process
To apply, candidates must submit their personal information and essay through the provided Google form.
Required Materials
Applicants must submit the following:
- Personal Information: Full name, contact details, and proof of enrollment or acceptance at a college or university in the United States.
- Essay: A short essay (500-700 words) on the following topics:
- Why they are interested/passionate about law.
- A law they would change or add.
- Additional accomplishments or accolades that are particularly meaningful to them.
- Transcript: A current academic transcript demonstrating their GPA.
Selection Criteria
The winner will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Essay Quality: Originality, clarity, and insightfulness of the essay.
- Academic Achievement: GPA and academic record.
- Extracurricular Involvement: Participation in relevant extracurricular activities.
The winner will be notified via email within one week of the submission deadline.
